Random things you may not know about Me

 

1. My middle name is Nichole, with an H because I am named after my father whose middle name is Nicholas.
2. I graduated from a women's college.  I majored in Accounting and minored in Psychology and Art History. I never follow anyone else's path, I go my own way.
3. My favorite color is red.  When I wear it I feel like I can conquer the world.  
4. One of my favorite places in the world to relax is Vermont.  We go on vacation and stay with family and I find inner peace and tranquility there like nowhere else.
5. I have a high tolerance for pain.
6. I am the tech person in our family.  I get that from my dad.
7. My hair has never been longer than my shoulders in my whole life.  It is thick but stick straight.
8. I graduated 10th in my HS class.
9. I am emotional and truly feel whatever I feel in the moment and it can change in an instant.
10. I love music and have a decent singing voice when I want to devote the time.
11. I like action movies and not romcoms for the most part.
12. I prefer a bath to a shower.
13. I got my DL at 17 but didn't start to really drive full time until after I was married and was 23.
14. I have lived in the same state my entire life.
15. I only have two of my four wisdom teeth.  The other two never developed in my jaw.
16. I have terrible vision and have worn glasses and/or contacts since I was 5.
17. While at work I like to work alone but in my personal life, I don't care to be by myself.
18. The three best days of my life so far have been the day I graduated college, the day I married my husband and the day my son was born but not in that order.
19. I could never hack it as a stay at home mom or a telecommuter.  I need to get out of the house and have a set schedule to keep me on track.
20. I am a gold person, I do not like silver but do own a few silver pieces out of necessity.

These are just random things I thought might be a glimpse into me.  I might come up with more another time.

New additions:

1. I have a fascination with Egypt.  I will watch History channel documentaries and watched the one where they believed the unearthed Queen Neferititi's tomb.
2. I like history in general.  On vacation my husband and I find historical locations to tour.  I have seen where the battles of Lexington & Concord occurred, the home, studio and gardens of Saint-Gaudens, and Billings Farm & Museum.  I have been to devil's den in Gettysburg.  All places I hope to take my son one day.  Many more places as well.  You must know your history. 
3. I have a nose like a bloodhound.  It is mostly a curse.  I am ultra sensitive to smell and if a smell is overpowering to me, I can get a migraine.  I don't change perfumes often for that reason.
4. I refuse to shorten Christmas to Xmas.  My mother would constantly ride me about not doing it when I was young and I just can't bring myself to do it.  Ever.
