I finally had the time to scan "the picture." So here it is. The overall picture that I cropped it out of was one of countless family birthday celebration pictures taken around my grandmother's dining room table. It is cropped and re-sized bigger so the resolution may not be great. I can't believe that I used to look at this picture all the time and couldn't for the life of me remember it when I was thinking about it. I have no information about it. I never asked my grandmother where she got it or who painted it. It had hung in her dining room as long as I can remember. In fact now that I am thinking about it I will have to go into my baby book. I know there is a picture of me sitting on the table as a little girl. I bet the picture is on the wall behind me. For all I know it could be something a family member painted. I know that my grandmother did have one or two other paintings that someone in the family painted. Who the painter was, I can't remember. Maybe a sibling or a cousin. It's been so long now, I can't remember. Well anyway, here's the painting. Whether or not some artist painted it or a family member did, matters not to me. What matters to me is that now when I close my eyes I can remember my grandmother's dining room just as it was the last time I visited her in it. Down to the last detail. She is gone now and someone else lives in her house, so memories like this painting are what I have. Fond memories of happy times.
I know that picture.
